No we are not able to see any patients who visit without a booked time, we see patients by Appointment only.

Appointment Information

We at the Ear Nurse understand that sometimes life can get in the way of making it to your scheduled appointment, however it is strongly encouraged that 24 hours’ notice is given for cancellation or change of appointment. A cancellation fee of $50 may be incurred.

If on the day of your appointment you are running late, please call and advise us how long you will take. Please note that if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment we may need to reschedule.

It is advised that you call chat to Mel or Jill to discuss if microsuction is appropriate for your child.

For microsuction to be successful the patient needs to be able to sit very still and follow instructions, this process is at times tricky for young children therefore there is an increased risk of damage to the ear drum and canal.

A fee of $90 applies even if microsuction is not tolerated by your child.

Microsuction is a safe, modern, and pain-free form of ear wax removal. The procedure is a specialised technique and is performed by a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse. As with all medical procedures there is risk associated. We will inform you of all the risks at your appointment.
